Je suis accro à Dior ♡

I wouldn't usually be one to splash out on an expensive lipstick, but when Dior released their new 'Addict' range and I received a sample to try, I couldn't help but then purchase the full size..

The new high shine formula, which contains a 'reflecting gel', glides on incredibly softly, making it so easy to wear, without any sticky residue, instead leaving lips feeling hydrated and looking plump! The colour pay off is absolutely amazing, resulting in an intense shine and so with 46 stunning shades to choose from, you can be sure to find your perfect match!

I intended on going for the same shade that Kate Moss wears in the advert, but ended up going for something a little more subtle and wearable for during the day. My colour is 260 Rose Deshabille, a very pretty rose pink with slight shimmer.

These lippies are quite pricey, retailing at £22 each. I was lucky enough to have saved up £17 worth of points on my Debenhams Beauty Club Card, so only ended up paying £5! What-a-bargain! However, when I do run out and need to repurchase, I will do so without a doubt, this lipstick is like no other, just look at the glossy shine! The packing is beautiful and makes you feel incredibly classy when you pull it out of your makeup bag!

Have you been converted into an 'Addict' yet? What are your thoughts?

Review: Liz Earle Natural Active Skin Care

I know that there are so many Liz Earle reviews out there, but I believe everyone's opinion and review is going to be slightly different from one another in some way, even if we do all love the stuff! I have been a fan for a long time, so I wanted to share my thoughts and also go through my step-by-step skincare routine to achieve the perfect, flawless skin..

L-R Liz Earle Tonic, Cleanse & Polish, Exfoliator
Front Skin Repair Moisturiser

Ahhh, the infamous 'Cleanse and Polish', this is probably the product that the brand is most known for and I'm sure you are all familiar with it!  Containing natural active ingredients such as rosemary, chamomile, cocoa butter and eucalyptus, this gentle cleanser leaves skin feeling soft and extremely clean. Recommended in a 2 phase cleansing process, it should first be used to remove makeup and daily build up of dirt. This product is suitable for all skin types and is even safe to use over the eye area, removing stubborn or waterproof eye make up without causing any stinging or irritation. Secondly, using the pure muslin cloth that comes along side the cleanser, carefully buff away the cream after running under hot water, which also helps in gentle exfoliation. This has been my every day, without fail,  skincare routine which I carry out both morning and night, for the past few years and the reason I believe I have clear skin, nothing can compare!

Twice a week, after cleansing, I turn to the 'Gentle Face Exfoliator' for extra, deeper exfoliation. Containing the natural ingredients of eucalyptus, cocoa butter and jojoba beads, this exfoliator softly polishes the skin, removing impurities and dead skin cells. Suitable for all skin types, except the hyper sensitive, it is advised to use it as often as you feel to revive dull looking skin.

I follow the previous steps with the 'Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer', available in either a pouring bottle or sprizter, shown above, this fresh, floral scented toner contains organic aloe vera, cucumber and vitamin E to sooth and refresh the face, resulting in revitalised, healthy looking skin. I spritz this on directly, to help lock in extra moisture after cleansing and exfoliating or even on those hot, summer days for a refreshing boost.

I complete my skincare routine with the 'Skin Repair Moisturiser' available in different formulas to suit different skin types. I use the normal/combination which contains avocado oil, echinacea and borage. This light, but rich cream nourishes, protects and strengthens, leaving skin with a natural looking radiance.

Have you guys tried this range? What are your thoughts or what is your skincare must have?

Think Pink! VO5's New Look Range!

VO5 brought out a whole new hair care range, I believe earlier this year, however I have only just gotten round to trying and testing a few things from it! The new packaging is a funky, shocking pink, instantly noticed whilst wondering down the haircare isle!
The range consists of colour treating shampoos and conditioners, a miracle mist and a miracle concentrate, containing argan oil, a cream wax, a style spray and an 'Instant Oomph Powder'! After hearing many great things about the 'Instant Oomph Powder', I decided to give it a try. VO5 have also brought out a new selection of hairsprays which caught my eye too..

For someone with very fine hair, I find it extremely hard to style and I often just leave it as it is! My hair is naturally straight, which I know a lot of people would die for, but when it comes to doing anything with it, it just won't hold! The 'Instant Oomph Powder' creates immediate volume and lift when applied to the roots of dry hair and massaged in. When rubbed in completely, the powder will not leave a 'dandruff' effect, although your roots are left a tiny bit sticky! This is suitable for any hair of any length, helping to give fine hair a lot more texture.

The new hairspray, available in different types of hold (I chose 'Stong Hold') have 5 vital benefits, these being:
All day hold - brushes out easily, leaving hair non crispy and soft
Weather protection - for 24 hours, preventing frizz
Ultimate fast-drying formula - with no sticky finish
Healthy shine - well, to make hair look healthy!
UV filter - protecting against environmental damages

When used in conjunction with eachother, these products give my hair ultimate volume and long lasting finish whichever style I decide to create! They also smell really good, a perfume for your hair!

For more of an idea on how to use these products, you can watch my hair tutorial HERE, a volumised updo inspired by Coleen Rooney.

Have you guys tried these products yet? If not, have you tried anything else from the new range?
