Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips & #LipstickConfidence Campaign

If there's ever a makeup release to get excited for, it's a Charlotte Tilbury Lip launch and her latest line is one that'll have you at a counter pronto for multiple shade swatches. Consisting of 12 lipsticks in total, Hot Lips is a collection inspired by some of the worlds most iconic women who inspire Charlotte in terms of power, style and beauty, capturing their personalities in each beautiful bullet and aiming to celebrate the mood-enhancing power, confidence and glamour a slick of lipstick can give, all whilst raising awareness for an amazing charity - ladies, listen up as for this is the ultimate all-female beauty collab...

CT believes that women all around the world are given hope and confidence with the help of a slick of lipstick which is why, for every lipstick purchase made throughout the months of July and August, £1 will be donated to the Women For Women International, a charity founded in 1993 women survivors of war in countries of conflict. Basic rights, freedom and their identities are taken away from them and when Women For Women International wanted to offer more than just financial support and training in vocational and business skills through a 12 month programme, the affected women asked only for lipstick and so here's where Charlotte stepped in with her Hot Lips collection and the #LipstickConfidence campaign helping to raise money and awareness.

The lipstick shades range from nude hues to reds, pinks and plums; Miranda May, a pinky-coral inspired by Miranda Kerr's effortless fresh-faced beauty, Kidman's Kiss a rose-petal pink that's perfect for all skin tones including pale, such as Nicole Kidman, Super Cindy, a nineties taupe nude inspired by Cindy Crawford, Salma's Secret, a deep-rose plum which adds an instant Latin sultriness, inspired by Salma Hayek, Liv It Up, a 'velvet rosebud', inspired by Liv Tyler and designed to be paired with a smoky eye, Bosworth's Beauty, a retro-vintage pink inspired by Kate Bosworth's timeless look, Electric Poppy, a cerise cherry colour, inspired by Poppy Delevingne and brought to life in a lipstick, Hot Emily, a retro-bright coral inspired by Emily Ratakjowski, Hel's Bells, a rich magenta mulberry, inspired by Helena Bonham-Carter's British style and beauty, Carina's Love, a siren red inspired by Chinese actress Carina Lau, Kim K.W, a pale pink nude inspired by the queen of nude lips, Kim Kardashian-West, and also includes the best selling celeb shades, Nude Kate, inspired by Kate Moss, Penelope Pink, inspired by Penelope Cruz, Sexy Sienna, inspired by Sienna Miller and Very Victoria inspired by Mrs Beckham.

I've been slicking on two shades from the range, both of which are recommended to be worn with Pillow Talk Lip Cheat A.K.A my fave ever lip liner. Liv It Up (shown left and worn in the first pic) and is a Fallen From The Lipstick Tree formula designed to protect from UV damage, fights oxidative stress and hydrates the lips for a soft, smooth finish. Paired with a heavier eye, it's the perfect pretty pink that can be slicked on in a single swipe but lasts longtime with a comfortable creaminess to it. The second shade, Kidman's Kiss (shown right and in the bottom pic) is a slightly darker, more rose-toned version of the latter and is a Matte Revolution formula, meaning no sheen to its finish but at the same time it doesn't leave your lips feeling dry. Shade-wise, they're not too far off each other but are my typical go-to slick of colours so I've got a feeling these will be the most reached-for in my lipstick drawer.

The Hot Lips lipsticks come in at £23 each and can be found online at John Lewis - Ladies, if you've listened up, next line up as I'll be joining the orderly queue for stock up on more shades from this collection, that's for sure...
