If there's ever a collaboration to get excited about, it's a Space NK collaboration for me - let's face it, it's always going to be a good one. A recent example is their team-up with NARS, creating the SpaceNKxNars SS16 Beauty Box, a 'look-in-a-box' type edit for a steal of a deal and it went down a right treat, but their latest has to be my favourite yet. Space NK have got together with Farfetch, an online leading luxury fashion retailer, to offer a beauty section alongside designer clothes, bags and shoes all under one virtual online roof. Since a few items from the selection can already be found in my beauty bag, I'm here to spill the contents of my cosmetic essentials as well as letting you in on my what products currently make up my FarfetchxSpaceNK wish list...
When it comes to the contents of my makeup bag, few things come and go but some things stay the same. My Cover FX Custom Cover Drops Foundation is a more recent discovery but it's set to hang around longtime; concentrated drops of colour in form, they're designed to be mixed in with another product such as moisturisers, serums and oils, the coverage being completely customisable so that you're able to wear it as sheer or as full as you wish, either way, the results are second skin-like natural, dewy, glowy and long-lasting. For some reason it doesn't mix well with the This Works In-Transit Camera Close-Up Primer, but every other foundation fits the bill - as a 3-in-1 it preps skin, acts as a moisturiser as well as a leave-on mask and leaves things looking photo ready at the same time, it's seriously incredible stuff. Extra coverage is achieved with Kevyn Aucoin's little pot of magic a.k.a The Sensual Skin Enhancer which blurs all in an instant. For setting, bronzing and highlighting duties I always go back to my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Palette, it's perfect for travel and leaves my skin looking lovely and luminous but if I'm after a touch more sheen on the cheeks, Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in 'Moonstone' is the one. Blush is always a product I struggle to enjoy but the only ones to win me over are Hourglass' Ambient Lighting Blushes which are paired with the setting powders to deliver a beautiful glow to the apples - it does just that with a pop of colour swirled in too and the shade I reach for is 'Radiant Magenta'. Eye wise, shadow essentials come from NARS, their And God Created a Woman Palette, there's something similar here, is a neutral lovers dream, each with the most buttery, blend able texture, and then to offer me fake looking flutters, Charlotte Tilbury's Full Fat Lashes is one of my favourite mascaras to date. Lastly for lips, NARS' Velvet Matte Lip Pencils have been a recent find of mine and I'm in love, and at the moment it's the shade 'Walkyrie', a reddy brown that's doing it for me.
With all of the above my longtime staples, it's not to say I don't have a forever growing wish list of other beauty bits to test and scouring through the new makeup-skin-haircare sections from the Space NK boutique on Farfetch, I've definitely come across a few more to add to that. Sunday Riley's Artemis Facial Oil is up there first, not only because it's the name I gave to my pet bunny, but more so for the fact that promises amazing skin, hydration and a whole lot of glowy - I'm there. In terms of something a little lighter base wise for the summer months, Chantecaille's Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser sounds the perfect fit, plus it has that all important SPF50 thrown in for good measure too. Since I'm such a fan of how radiant my skin looks with Becca's highlight, I can only predict good things from their Ombre Rouge Eyeshadow Palette - those warm, peachy tones look something dreamy. As a more nude-toned option to change up from my beloved NARS lip pencil, I may have just found the perfect shade in the way of Lipstick Queen's Bright Natural Sinner. It still has the brown hues going on though comes across a little more daytime wearable.
You can check out the full Space NK beauty lineup on Farfetch.com right here and make your own lust list by hitting 'Add to Wishlist' on each product page. Mine might only consist of four for now but the longer I spend on Farfetch's new beauty section, the longer my list grows - a girl can wish, eh...?
