Brand New Beauty Launches

A whole lot has happened on the new-just-in side of the beauty world as of late, hence another one of these round-ups to swiftly follow after the last. I've had a hunt about and rounded-up a bunch of some of the best brand-spanking new beauty releases and what's more, all of the above are cruelty free and so should lend a helping hand if you're making the transition to re-stocking your stash, or to simply introduce you to some new skin, hair tools and makeup products - from left to right, top, middle and bottom we have...

Pixi by Petra Beauty Blush Duo and Kabuki Brush Cult Beauty, £18 - Combing two powders in one, this highlighting-blush duo delivers a beautiful dusky rose flush with a gold-toned illuminator for an all-over glow. Paired with a mini kabuki, it's simple to swirl into, sweep on and catch the sheen in all the right places.

RMS Beauty The Ultimate Makeup Remover Wipe - Cult Beauty, £12 - I'm not one for wipes, but when it comes to travel, overnight stays and planes they ain't half handy to have. Made up of 20 individually sealed sachets, each cloth is infused with pure coconut oil to melt makeup away, waterproof eye makeup and all, minus that 'stripped' feeling.Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer - Cult Beauty, £16 - This predominantly eye-focused line hasn't let me down so far and so I have all good feelings for this pencil that looks to be a thicker version of Brow Wiz. Available in 10 shades, there's natural matches for blondes, reds and brunettes, and the triangular nib outlines, defines and fills, the added spooly then brushing strays into place for perfected, bolder and broadened brows.
Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder - John Lewis, £34 - The latest and greatest to join the Ambient Lighting line alongside the powders, blushers and bronzers comes as a highlight. Available in four shades, these sheer strobing powders give off a natural luminosity using micro-fine pearl particles meaning no metallic, pore-enhancing finish.

Gwen Stefani X Urban Decay Blush Palette - John Lewis, £35 - As well as a shadow palette and brow box, the GSxUD collab includes a six-piece compact of blushes, bronzers and highlights. Lightweight and a creamy, powder texture, they're blend-able and can last for up to a whole 8 hours on the skin.

Sister & Co. Skin Food - Space NK, £12-£27  - Not so much a new brand on the block, but certainly just-in at Space NK, this company focuses on skin food beauty, including a Raw Coconut with Spearmint Mouthwash for oil pulling, a standard Coconut Oil and a Raw Coconut & Activated Charcoal Tooth Whitening Polish, which sounds incredible and is at the top of my wish list as a cruelty free toothpaste.

NARS Nouvelle Vogue Spring '16 Collection - John Lewis, £16-£55 - A whole colour focus launch made up of palettes, powders, foundations, primers and then some - going by the looks of things,my favourites have to be the Hammamet Duo Eyeshadow featuring a pale beige and a shimmery, peachy rose-gold, and the Instant Crash Lipgloss, a sheeny beige-nude with an ultra-smooth, non-sticky, long wearing formula.

Zelens Lip Treatment Oil - Cult Beauty, £40 - Available at CB and CB only, this is the ultimate hydrating lip treatment using vitamins, botanicals, peptides and hyaluronic acid to plump, replenish, smooth and protect - perfect for on-the-go, the quick-slick doe-foot wand easily applies the blend of argan, rose, jojoba and borage oils.

Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette - Superdrug, £12.99 - Brush laundry has been made all the more easier with my Sigma Spa Express Cleansing Mitt and so I'd recommend giving this a whirl if you're looking for something along the same lines that's a little easier to get hold of. Soap up your brushes, swirl them onto the glove and prepare to be amazed at the deepest clean of their bristles' lives.

By Terry Cellularose Liftessence - Space NK, £65-£125 - Consisting also of an Eye Contour and a Global Serum, the best of the new Liftessence line has to be the Oil Elixir by the sounds of things to me - those words are just dreamy. I'm yet to dip into any By Terry skincare but this fine, silky dry oil concentrate vitalises, soothes, regenerates and nourishes.

  1. 3 Studies SHOW How Coconut Oil Kills Fat.

This means that you actually get rid of fat by consuming coconut fat (including coconut milk, coconut cream and coconut oil).

These 3 studies from big medical journals are sure to turn the traditional nutrition world upside down!
