Five Autumn Makeup Musts

Whilst sit and partake in a self-debate about what my favourite season out of the four really is, I have to say I'm not-so-secretly looking forward to all the hot water bottles/wooly hats/lighting every candle etc etc. that'll see me few the next couple of months. That said, there's also the even better side of things - I'm talking makeup and nails, the bold and berries and I've raided my makeup stash to pick out five of the best that are musts for me each and every autumn...

By Terry Sheer Expert Foundation - Though my summer colour is fading fast and I'm trying to keep things topped up as mentioned in this post, this is my perfect in-between-skin-tones foundation shade. Think flawless skin on skin; so sheer you can't even detect it on the surface, yet the coverage is just awesome. It works for every skin tone; oily skins are mattefied, dry skins are hydrated and brightening properties give the skin a unified radiance. P.s By Terry is confirmed cruelty free here.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in 'Exposed' - This blush has said season written over it - each time it's cracked open, I just can't help but think it. I'd deem it a mauve-pink that gives you those 'just-stepped-in-from-the-cold' flush that ties in well with either a heavy, smoky eye or something bold and berry on the lips, nor too pink that it'd clash with anything red, but just enough to give the cheeks a little bit of colour - basically, it's autumn blush perfection.

Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Palette - I've got a feeling this'll be the one shadow compact that'll see me right through 'til winter. Neutral lovers this is your quad, a selection of shimmers that can build up something smoky, including a frosty, pale gold, a reddy-toned rust, a bronze glitter and a chocolate brown with golden flecks. The pigmentation is insane, they last all day and are a dream to buff and blend with.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in 'Replumzel' - Usually my berries are bold when it comes to lip products but here is a much wearable number that sweeps on a  sheer stain with an all kinds of glossy finish. As well as a hint of tint, these gloss sticks, deliver a whole lot of balmy, hydrating goodness, not to mention they smell pretty amazing too.

Barry M Nail Paint in 'Raspberry' - Not an item of makeup per-say, but I'm taking my love for berry hues from the lips to fingertips. This is probably one of my all time BM Nail Paint faves, almost a wine-coloured pinky red that lasts longtime before any chips begin to appear. It's pretty much an all-round good egg...
