Sarah Chapman Morning Facial

My first taste of Sarah Chapman skincare came via her daily essentials starter pouch housing four decent sized samples, one of those being her infamous Overnight Facial - a sleep-in face oil that works wonders as you snooze and since it became such a best selling number the daytime offering, Morning Facial followed in its footsteps. My skin loved the latter, drank the stuff right up, so I opted for a full-sizer of her latest offering and being the kind of gal who indulges in as many makeup-free days as possible to simply slather my face in skincare goodness, it seemed that this one would fit the bill for said situations rather nicely...

The clue is in the name with this one - serving up all kinds of glowy, plump post-facial goodness in a pump, the hydrating elixir has a whole lot of silkiness about it, gliding onto the skin before sinking in with no greasy feel. It's come into play as the last step of my morning skincare routine twice weekly for the past couple of months delivering results that are both immediate, but also long term seeing as the boost of hydration in my skin has since come to be on a whole other level. Said results? Radiance and firmness with just the healthiest dewiness. The dreamy scent is one worth noting, exactly what you'd expect your facialist to slather on, uplifting, yet relaxing - basically, all the spa-like feels. As always, ingredients wise, SC hits the nail on the head using plant rich oils such as rose hip, passion flower, baobab and borage, then you'll find the potent actives to protect against environmental damage such as pollution, and to heal and encourage intense cell nourishment.

All of this does come with a hefty price tag of £46 and for a mere 15ml at that, it won't last you all too long so a few more mil's per pump would be nice - that or I'll quite gladly accept it on tap in my bathroom please and thanks...

  1. I love both the morning and overnight versions. But yeah, 15mls is pretty poor for the price. That, and you can actually see how much oil you have left. Beautiful though nonetheless x
