The Correcting Pen That Hides EVERYTHING

I'm all for a double-ended cosmetic; duo-doe-foot lip products, brow pencil-come-spooly sticks and twin-wand mascaras have all made it in my space-saving, travel friendly good books, but a dual-ended concealer? So this is new. This time round, the creamy crayon in question comes as the Correcting Pen from Tom Ford's Fall '14 Color Collection - it's rather special - and I think the fact that it's already been crowned a permanent line member has pretty much got that summed, and thumbed, up...

Here we have the ultimate on-the-go touch-up essential on our hands - one end a peachy-pink based, oval-shaped corrector that, when swiped on under-eyes neutralises dark circles, brightens and diminishes any ages spots, the other a yellow-in-shade, fine tipped point to target blemishes, broken capillaries and reduce redness for an overall evened-out skintone. I slick it straight on from the stick and give things a blend and pat with my ring finger, the melt-in formula works in seamlessly, imperfections instantly corrected and best of all it hangs about, doesn't cling to dry patches or enhance them. Although completely different in texture, but verrry similar in camouflaging capabilities, I'd even go as far as saying it's up there with my all time fave, NARS' Radiant Creamy Concealer. Yup, a bold claim right there.

Three shades make up the range; Light, Medium and Dark. Me? I opted for the former. Also released as members of the collection are the Traceless Perfecting Foundation and Concealing Pen, both when layered up with the Corrector makes for the most flawless face, plus a somewhat dreamy, rose-hued colour shadow quad - all evidently drool-worthy, but for me this innovative one is the real winner. Blemishes be gone, under eyes, bye bye.
