Bumble's Invisible Oil Line Latest Members

Sitting up high on their Top Sellers list, Bumble & bumbles Hairdressers Invisible Oil gets nothing but good write-ups, so it comes as no shocker that they've extended the line with three new Invisible Oil family members; a shampoo, conditioner and a does-it-all primer. With the same silky outcome in mind, they're designed to work in tandem, completely transforming tresses of all kinds. Now I've never had a taste for the original oil but I could only imagine if it's really that good, this trio was worth a try...

Loaded-up with a six featherlight oil blend; grapeseed, safflower seed, macadamia, almond, argan and coconut, the formula turns things around by softening, silkening, taming, de-frizzing, detangling and protecting. P.s you can only imagine how gooood that combo smells. In order of wash, we have the Invisible Oil Shampoo up first - free from sulphates, it still works up to a good lather giving roots a deep clean, but I find it leans towards the heavy side of things - a little ironic when it's supposed to leaves locks feeling weightless. However, follow up with the Invisible Oil Conditioner, a thick, rich, nourishing creme and all is good. Bonus points go to the huge squeezy-tube this comes in, unlike Bumble's usuals housed in the same shaped shampoo bottles, this way things are much easier when it comes to encouraging out the very last drops, though it does mean it's minus 50ml compared to its conditioner competitors.

The star of the show here comes as the Invisible Oil Primer, a mist of many wonders. Spritzed over damp or dry hair, this milky-in-consistency prep spray does all of the latter mentioned but also creates a protective shield against heat and UV damage. I've been coating my locks before heading out into the sun and lugging it along in my beach-bag for extra top-ups. No stickiness, no greasiness, no nothin' -  The results? A soft, manageable mane that's left lingering with a dreamy, summery scent.

Basically, the shampoo alone doesn't quite cut it for me, but seeing as it works so well when finished off with the other two components, the whole line is going to be a definite re-purchase when I've worked my way to the bottom of their bottles - in other words, I may have just found the one(s) in the hair wash department - all that's missing from my newly-stocked lock line-up is the actual oil where all of this began. I'll soon be taking care of that...
