The Ultimate Portable Perfume

Scents that you can lug about on the long haul - probably one of the most genius thought-up beauty innovations to date. Available in all shapes, sizes, formulas and refillable travalos, it simply means there's no need to further weigh down your already-bursting-to-the-brim-with-junk handbag. I could drool day-long at the Sephora rollerball scent stands but housed in a delicate glass tubes, they're just a shattered, puddle of perfume waiting to happen if you're as clumsy as yours truly. The best one yet comes from Le Soft Perfume in a solid stick form and I promise it's not only the chic, patterned packaging that's got me...

The brainchild of Sephora's co-founder, Isabelle Masson Mandonnaud and Philippe Vignon,  who worked 20 years for L'Oreal, these twist-up and swipe-on scents are paraben and alcohol free, sensitive skin-friendly and are made with moisturising, natural waxy bases. Not a lot larger than your average sized lippy, they can get chucked in your clutch, nestle in your jean pocket, are airline approved and can be whiffed to bring a moment of calm mid-flight. My current swipe of choice is Etre Ici Et Ailleursa mango butter base with a sweet, yet spicy fragrance - pink and peppery top notes open the aroma to a warm base of sandalwood, vanilla, heliotrope, tuberose and daffodil. Plus it leaves behind the prettiest sheeny trail doubling-up as a bit of a highlight for the décolleté too. Spring scent sorted

For now you'll find them at £20 (some even £16) a pop only online at Cult Beauty making it a bit of a guessing game as to which smell to opt for, but from my nostril's knowledge you can't go wrong with any of them. Just be prepared for your nose to become permanently attached to your wrist. Don't say I didn't warn ya...
