In My Travel Shower

Restricting my skincare wardrobe just isn't an option when it comes to packing products pre-jetting off, but with the majority of other toiletries I can just about manage a more streamlined, stripped-back approach. Almost. From a basic mop wash to a full-on head-to-toe in-shower pamper, this lot has me covered and I like to think of it as my home-away-from-home bathroom cabinet...

Bringing you my in-shower routine run-down in an orderly fashion; my mini shampoo and conditioner combo comes from kai and their travel set. I'll say you get a good two weeks worth from this duo, used sparingly when rinsed through every-other-day - free from all the bad stuff and packed with all the good, these not only deep clean but nicely nourish, and leave your locks smelling gooood. Twice a week on holidays away, I'll run through Ojon's Restorative Treatment Plus pre-wash and leave for 15 minutes as an intense moisture mask to put back in what the sun has frazzled out. For a good scrub-a-thon, a petite pot of Caudalie's Vinotherapie Crushed Cabernet Scrub has been helping to shed dead skin cells, leaving my limbs smoo-ooth and to follow up I've been washing down with Elemis' spa@home Lime and Ginger Body Wash from the Spa Body Treats Bodycare Essentials Set. Part-body moisturising happens at home rarely, but abroad it seems less of a chore and to keep the shower gel scent lingering, I've been slathering on the Lime and Ginger Hand and Body Lotion from the same set. To luxe things up a notch, I dash a few drops of Aromatherapy Associates' Revive Evening Oil from their Travel Collection on the showers floor mid-water run to create a spa-like surround, or I'll pat it on the skin for a similar effect and to gear my up for evenings out after a day of being perched pool-side.

As a final step before hopping out, I've been cleansing away any soapy suds which may have made their way onto my face using Oskia's Renaissance Cleansing Gel. As my current morning clean, it's not yet available in a more portable pump but I just couldn't bare to be parted - plus it's not all too chunky and is getting a good use. Look at it this way, mini's can be used up, left behind or binned, allowing for more suitcase space for holiday purchases in prep for the flight home  - a win, win situation in any gals case.
