Five Beauty Highlights: Week #5

Perricone post is the best kind of post. Nothing gets the week off to a good start better than a good package delivered by the postie, especially when the contents are all things Perricone MD. I'm giving four bits a road test; the Omega 3 Supplements, Chia Serum, Deep Moisture Therapy and the No Foundation Foundation in the new version for fair skin gals - I'm not giving too much away, just keep a lookout for a lowdown on these.

On the mask menu. Serving up some serious hydration to my parched complexion currently are the Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Sheet Masks - think original Hydraluron, their sister serum but in a more heftier dose and in sheet form soaked in a hyaluronic acid concoction that claims to carry on hydrating for 24 hours after peeling off. I'll lay it on, manoeuvre it into place, leave for ten minutes, remove and press in the remainders. The results? Nicely nourished skin with a natural, dewy glow.

Sick day saviours. I'm usually able to beat winter bugs with the amount of supplements I gulp down, but this time it's got me good. I managed to drag myself away from the duvet, down to the tub where I soaked in a nice bath brew consisting of Aromatherapy Associates' Support Breath Lavender and Peppermint oil and the This Works Deep Sleep Shower Gel which makes a few fluffy bubbles pumped under a running tap. The heavenly herbalness didn't stop there as the This Works Deep Sleep candle accompanied me from bath side to bedside where the ESPA ProSerum face oil then graced my face, the This Works' Deep Sleep Pillow Spray scented my bedsheets and their Stress Less roller ball relieved an achy neck.

R.I.P Oribe. My Dry Texturizing Spray misted it's final spritz and my flat, limp locks are missing the stuff massively - well, it's a good job I have a day in London coming up, and it just so happens I have a Space NK shopping list currently measuring longer than my arm...

2013 Beauty Faves | Part 2. Here's a sneak peek at the products which complete my 2013 beauty favourites two-parter; the makeup, tools, nails and fragrance. If you haven't given it a watch yet, you can do so here.

A date for your diary: Roughly around Feb 11th is when you'll be able to finally get your mitts on the brand-spanking new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes - a hybrid that combines the glow-giving effects from the Ambient Lighting Powder with cool pink and soft coral-y colours. There are six shades of the marble-like effect blush to choose from, priced at £28.00 a pop - available to pre-order here (though thanks to a Space NK slip-up, some have already been sent out) Pink, peach, pink, peach? Decisions, decisions...
