2013 Beauty Favourties: Skin, Hair and Body Care

A year's worth of beauty babbling crammed into two videos? It can only mean one thing. My 2013 favourites have arrived and I'm serving up the skincare, haircare and body care bits for starters -  If you know me well, you'll know what to be expecting; Kate Somerville's cult cream, Oribe's wonder spray and Dr Bronner's magic multi-tasker to name but a few. Stay tuned for part two, the makeup, nails and the rest which will be heading in the direction of your YouTube subscription boxes shorty, but in the meantime grab a cuppa and take a gander at what's done it for me over the past 12 months...

Click the title at the top of the video, it'll throw open a new tab where you can find all the links and info hiding away in the description box below the clip. Enjoy!

  1. I truly love, Kate Somerville! I have the oil-free version! It works wonders. I am on the hunt for a better night time cream because I think it could be a tad bit more rich for the evening!

  2. Hydraluron is simply fantastic! I use it every single night and I can definitely feel a difference. I have the Dr. Bronner's soap on my shopping list. I think I'll be picking it up this weekend so my brushes can be all squeaky clean!

  3. Bumble and Bumble sunday shampoo has been on my wishlist for far too long and I still haven't got it. I've been using serozinc for a while, I love it because it's so versatile!

  7. We are what we eat. If you do not consume enough vitamins on a daily basis, sooner or later your body will ask for them in its own way. Skin, hair and nails are the basic ‘indicators’ of your overall health. Therefore, in case something is wrong with any of these three, you should look for a reason inside. I was very anxious with my hairloss, which used to happen each year in autumn-winter time. I started using external remedies, but in best case they were giving just a temporary effect. Then I have consulted a trichologist. He advised me to revise my nutrition and pointed the products which are especially needed for healthy hair. Besides, he recommended the natural nutritional supplement – Hair Gain Formula by Military Grade – which was supposed to enhance healthy hair growth. I must say, that following his advices during a year, I noticed that my hairbecame much thicker near the roots, which means that new hair is growing. Moreover, my hairdresser told me that my hair became more shiny and healthy.
