October Favourites

Seeing as my September round-up was a bit of a no show, my October favourites is bulked-up a bit more than normal. There's a fair few beauty bits I've had a whole lot of love for lately, including a spur-of-the-moment airport purchase, several on-the-go handbag heroes, and two things that really won't come as much of a shocker if you're an Instagram or Twitter follower of mine - can you tell who my current fave person is yet? Oh and the words 'transitional shade' crop up at least a couple of times. Tap the title at the top of the video, a new tab will open up and you'll be able to view the list of products mentioned, links and all other info that's hiding in that description box. Enjoy! ...

  3. Hi Jessica. I have just recently :( started to know more about skincare and what is going on, I firstly bumped into a video with Caroline Hirons and then somehow to one of yours and I lived it! I've iust recently had a baby and I have been totally forgetting about my skin :( plus I have to completely start over and buy creams and cleansers and everything, so I would like to ask for some suggestions.
Like Emma hardie or Liz Earle cleanser?
What about toner? P50 or glow tonic or any other suggestion?
    Serum?
Moisturiser? Hydraluron or as I can see that you love it Kate Somerville?
    Eye cream?
I'm really in need of help, as you and Caroline have so many lovely suggestions that a little lost :( but I really won't to get hold of my skin care, plus I rinse my face quite a few times a day if I have to do wudu( wash before praying) and my mum gave me a few samples when she came over from Paris but I don't think my skin likes them as I am getting some spots :/
Thank you so much in advance, and I'm sorry for the long post. I hope you can give me a little help. And well done for your blog and channel really nice, really enjoying! Yours and Caroline my favourites!!!! :) xxx

  4. Ah thanks so much for your lovely comment Ayesha, it's made my day! :-) And congrats on your new born! Your hormones could be all over the place which might be causing breakouts, but if you get started with some good skincare, drink plenty of water and eat a healthy diet, you'll soon notice a difference!
Cleanser wise, Liz Earle is lovely, maybe make that your morning cleanser and use Emma Hardie at night? I haven't tried either P50 or Glow Tonic, P50 is now harder to get in the UK (I believe Liberty have stopped selling) and Glow Tonic is just as hard to buy but it's on my list - I'd go with the Glow Tonic! I'm using Lierac's Anti-Fatigue Balm and Mask as an eye cream, but I hear Eyeslix by Indeed Labs (same as Hydraluron) is amazing. Hydraluron as a serum before moisturiser, I LOVE the KS Goat Milk Cream if you can't tell already ;-) It's good for all skin types and helps with blemishes too. OH and the Kate Somerville book, it has everything you need to know! Really hope this helps! xx

  8. You're so welcome :-) Ah I was going to mention LRP Serozinc too, but I know how hard it is to get so it's great you're able to get it! I did give a little bit of information on brands in my Best of British Beauty Brand video - maybe that might help :-) x
