Yu-Be Skin Moisturising Cream

You know me and my multi-taskers, I'm always on the look out for the next best beauty buy with do-it-all duties. They can't be faulted as lug about companions and my most recent hunt-down fits the bill for that pretty perfectly - cue a travel friendly tube of glycerin goodness...

Yu-Be's Skin Moisturising Cream* is just that, a concentrated glycerin formula loaded up with a variety of vitamins and packed with camphor. Concocted by a Japanese pharmacist way back, it's a best seller over there and since making use of its plethora of properties I can see why. Light, grease-free and non-sticky, it glides on and sinks right in, the eucalyptus-like scent hanging about for a bit before wearing off. The list of uses is a lengthy one. Ready? Dabbed on dry skin, elbows, knees and all, smooths flaky bits and nourishes nicely. It makes for great hand hydrator, moisturising rough mitts and slathered on feet sorts cracked heels and tackles tough calluses. Coated on cuticles helps push them back for a tidy up but also saves any sore splits. Slapped on any sunburnt bits, it'll reduce redness and soothe skin, but I've mainly been massaging it on as a lip balm - also taking it's place as a bedside table staple as it leaves a slight white cast, not a lot of good for during the day, but I awake to a souped-up plump pout when put on pre-sleep.

And it probably doesn't stop there, but that's where I'm going to draw the line at - until my next diverse use discovery, there's another multi-purpose product in the bag, literally...

  1. I love multi-tasking products (prob because I'm a cheapskate and lug too much shit around in my bag already haha). What other multi-use things would you recommend?

    1. Haha, you and me both Ruth ;-) I've done two videos so far on my favourite multi-taskers, you can watch them here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PbEuL-chzQ and here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMs4grBlaHU

      Hope this helps! :-)

  2. I got this in my birchbox a few months ago. I had a annoying dry patch on my eye lid, which caused my eyeshadow to look ugly, I used this 2 times and the dry patch was gone!
