Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks

Just when I thought Bobbi couldn't do any better - first with all benefits of the infamous potted gel liner finally being released as a pencil product, she's only now gone and added to the 'long-wear' line with the original cream shadow formula in a portable, twist-up stick. If anything, I prefer a quick slick of shadow in the creamy kind, but when it comes to the jar-packaged sort I find they soon dry-up and shrivel within their surroundings, making them all the more tricky to blend - this, however, is easy to apply, creamy colour in an instance...

The shade which made me cave was 'Sand Dune', nude and neutral lovers unite - this beautiful beige tan with barely-there shimmer glides on over the lids without any pulls or tugs. Colour pay-off gets a good thumbs up from me and the formula is build-able yet blend-able, not too creamy, not to dry, leaving plenty of time to smudge away - I'll give it a quick pat over with the warmth of my ring finger and all is set. As an oily eyelid gal, this lasted pretty well and lived up to its 8 hour wear claims with only some slight creases and crinkles come the very end of the day, but not a single flake, fade or smear in sight.

Released just in time for Spring, these will be sticking around as part of the permanent range and are £20 a pop, available now from BB counters or DebenhamsI've definitely got my smooth-shadow shaded eye on some more of the 8 colours in total, including a very Chanel 'Emerveille'-esque pinky gold and a rich chocolate brown - I think it's safe to say I'm stuck on this Bobbi rave train, who's joining?!

I really want to try something from Bobbi Brown, where's a good place to start?

I've started a new feature on my blog today called "My Top Five..." where I'm picking my five favourite nail polishes in each colour over the next couple of weeks! I'm starting with blue...
