Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer

As with my face bases, I tend to steer clear of a cakey coverage under my eyes, saying that, my pesky bags are always a task to mask. Finding something which hydrated as well as hiding my circles well without looking like it was loaded-on was an even bigger quest, but finally my 'umms and ahhs' may have been answered - cue my latest concealer culprit...
Perricone MD's No Concealer Concealer made its way into my FeelUnique basket on a complete whim, though it was mainly its name that had me hooked. Its thick texture and capability to completely camouflage proves that it is in fact, very much a concealer, yet still manages to appear naturally flawless whilst brightening and awakening. As well as perfectly disguising my dreaded dark circles, it works as an anti-ageing treatment and protects with an SPF of 35 - one to avoid in cases of photography flashback, but for sunnier months it's a winner. A single pump (major packaging simplicity points!) warmed between the ring fingers and patted on under your peepers does just the job, I'll then grab a MAC 224 to ensure all is blended nicely. Longevity wise - it stays put pretty darn well with no creases or crinkles come the end of the day.

The one-shade-suits-all is its only downfall. For fair to medium gals it seems to adapt, but for darker skin-tones maybe not so much. Oh, and there's the price - it's on the steeper end of the scale at £37 for a minuscule 9g, but for me it's blown all others out of the water and will definitely be coming along on holiday with me this Summer. Dr Perricone has also conjured up a No Foundation Foundation which gets favourable feedback, but with reports of a lingering fishy scent, I think I'll be giving that one a miss!

  3. I have tried this but I have tried the No Foundation Foundation. I didn't think it smelt fishy at all? I actually quite liked the scent, it was quite fruity I thought. I found it a little tacky though and preferred my BB cream instead :)
